In your first paper, I want you to discuss your experience with a work of literature. You will be responding to the question at issue: How has literature affected me?
Generate Ideas via brainstorming or freewriting.
Narrow you topic down to something you can discuss fully in 800 to 1000 words.
Consider organization: are you writing a narrative? An argument? A cause/effect? etc.
Papers are due on Wednesday Feb. 11. Bring 2 copies to class for peer review.
Final Drafts are due for grading on Friday, Feb. 13. (Please see the syllabus for late paper penalties)
