Hello and welcome to ENGL 1020, Freshman Composition II.

The beginning of the semester is always an exciting (if not a bit crazy) time of the year. Students are rushing around trying to figure out where each classroom is, what books they need from the bookstore, and whether or not the new professor is going to be hard! We instructors are very busy also planning lessons, writing rubrics, and trying to learn everyone’s name. But, after a few weeks, everything settles down as everyone gets comfortable with the new schedules.

I have created this website to assist you with the course this semester. Supplemental readings are available here along with information and resources that you will find useful. Just click on the appropriate links from the list to the right. I will also post important updates and information, so it is important that you check the site often.
